VOTING PATTERNS 3 - THE VOTE FOR PLEMONT

HERE IS MY PREDICTION FOR THE VOTE ON PLEMONT.

THIS IS A MONTH BEFORE THE DEABTE TAKES PLACE

IT WILL BE PASSED BY A LARGE MARGIN

MOST WHO VOTE FOR THE PURCHASE OF PLEMONT WON'T EVEN SPEAK ON THE PROPOSITION

First up, those doing a U-TURN. The ones below all voted against the purchase of plemont. I now predict they will change their minds seeing as Lord Bailhache is bringing this.

Senator Paul Francis Routier M.B.E.
Senator Philip Francis Cyril Ozouf S
  Senator Alan John Henry Maclean
 Senator Bryan Ian Le Marquand
Connétable Daniel Joseph Murphy

 Connétable Leonard Norman
Connétable John Martin Refault
 Connétable Philip John Rondel
Deputy Judith Ann Martin
Deputy John Alexander Nicholas Le Fondré
 Deputy Anne Enid Pryke
Deputy Kevin Charles Lewis
 Deputy Edward James Noel

That is 13 Votes changed in favour before the debate has begun.

Now add in the ones who wanted to purchase Plemont in the the first debate

Senator Alan Breckon Pour
Connétable Alan Simon Crowcroft Pour
Connétable Deidre Wendy Mezbourian Pour
Deputy Roy George Le Hérissier Pour
Deputy James Gordon Reed Pour
Deputy Carolyn Fiona Labey Pour
Deputy Jacqueline Ann Hilton Pour
Deputy Shona Pitman Pour
Senator Ian Joseph Gorst Pour
Deputy Montfort Tadier Pour
Deputy Trevor Mark Pitman Pour
Deputy Michael Roderick Higgins Pour

That is 12 Votes for the purchace

Total so far 25 Votes. We are just a couple short of the Majority needed.

Lets now add in the New States Members.

senator Francis Le Gresley
Senator Lyndon John Farnham
Deputy James Patrick Gorton Baker
Deputy Susan Jane Pinel
Deputy John Michael Le Bailly
Deputy Stephen George Luce
Deputy Roderick Gordon Bryans
Deputy Kristina Louise Moore
Deputy Richard John Rondel

Deputy Baudain
Deputy Green
Deputy Ryan
Connétable Michael John Paddock
Connétable Michel Philip Sydney Le Troquer

Connetable Sadie Rennard
Senator Bailhache
If we add all the Votes up I make it 41

All the ones not mentioned won't take place in the debate beacuse of a conflict of interest or I beleieve they will vote against the proposition.

IF ALL THE STATES MEMBERS ARE PRESENT THAT IS MY PREDICTION.

THE MAJORITY OF STATES MEMBERS ARE  THERE TO PUSH THE BUTTON - NOTHING ELSE

HOW COULD I POSSIBLY KNOW THIS WHEN WE DON'T HAVE PARTY POLITICS?

LOOK OUT FOR THE U-TURNS - COULD BE DANGEROUS OUT THERE

THE STATES OF JERSEY - DANGEROUS AND PREDICTABLE

Fascinating .

What will they do with the cameras on them?

Will they go ahead anyway or will they scatter like the roaches when the lights are turned on.

You forgot one of our most principled and savvy members ........... The Syvret Park ring binder.

Which way will the ring binder be voting Rico ?
So much cleverer than its owner and it even has a spine.
:-)

Yep, how many of the 39 will grow a spine to match the ring binder ?

I do not understand such logic, it is only Rico's opinion although if he was absolutely right, we could save a lot of money by just passing all the issues over to Rico to decide on the basis such a voting pattern, now that would be fun!
